Nokyi Chan: Chinese medicine learning journey
06 Jul 2020
Interested in Chinese medicine programme and want to know more? There is no better way than hearing from the current students themselves!
Meet Nokyi Chan, who was inspired by her time at the School of Chinese Medicine. “In the early days of my freshman year at the School, a lecturer shared with us a classic piece of medical ethics introducing the essential qualities of a good medical practitioner - erudition and integrity. In the following years, we have been reminded to take a good balance between medical knowledge and morality. The HKBU Chinese medicine programme is well rounded, and it combines the strengths of both Chinese and Western methods. We also have the opportunities to take part in clinical internships. My learning experience here has reinforced my determination to be a good Chinese medicine practitioner,” says Nokyi.
