HKBU and HKJC launch Elderly Sponsorship Programme for Chinese medicine healthcare service

The Elderly Sponsorship Programme launched by the “Hong Kong Baptist University-Jockey Club Chinese Medicine Disease Prevention and Health Management Centre” and supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club was officially kicked off yesterday. Hong Kong local citizens aged 65 or above are eligible to apply for the Programme.

 

Successful applicants who are recipients of the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme can enjoy six Chinese medicine consultation visits at the Centre within a half year with a full subsidy of HK$550 maximum per visit, covering consultation fees, examination and treatment charges. Non-CSSA recipients can also enjoy a half amount of the subsidy. The Programme is expected to benefit 63,000 persons. Please click here for more details.
