HKBU is hosting the “Trash-to-Treasure" Green Easter Exhibition at the Arrival Hall, Terminal 1, Hong Kong International Airport to promote waste recycling and increase public awareness on environmental protection.

The exhibition will be held until 1 April. Since it was unveiled to the public on 21 March, the event has attracted over 1,000 citizens and tourists to participate. With the support from the HKBU Academy of Visual Arts, low-carbon ambassadors of HKBU used waste materials to create an environmentally friendly corner with paper-made art installations and environmentally friendly decorations. The desks and chairs as well as the paper Easter bunnies and Easter eggs, which are on display for a limited period, can all be recycled, helping to promote a low-carbon culture.

In addition, the ambassadors have designed several interactive activities, such as using waste or dried flowers to make bookmarks, and also some games for participants to learn more about recycling and green travel.
