The University received a delegation from the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce today (31 August). The 19-member delegation was led by its Vice-chairmen Professor Peter Wong and Mr Brandon Liu and Standing Committee Member and Chairman of the Education Funding Committee Mr Alfred Lee.

The delegation learned about the new initiatives introduced by the School of Business and visited the teaching facilities of the Department of Journalism, the Academy of Film of the School of Communication as well as the School of Chinese Medicine. The visitors were pleased to understand more about HKBU’s latest development plans.

HKBU representatives receiving the visitors included President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Roland Chin, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) Dr Albert Chau, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary Mr Andy Lee, Associate Vice-President (Engagement) Mr Yeung Chee-kong, Head of the Department of Marketing of the School of Business Dr Henry Fock, Chinese Medicine Museum Coordinator of the School of Chinese Medicine Dr Liu Jing, Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation Mrs Lily Chan, Director of Student Affairs Professor Gordon Tang, and Assistant Director of Student Affairs Dr Rosa Tang.
