The Office of Student Affairs held the annual Scholarship and Bursary Donors’ Tea Reception on Tuesday (30 April) to express the University’s gratitude to donors for their generosity and untiring support over the years and to provide an opportunity for the beneficiaries to thank the donors in person. Nearly 300 donors, staff and students attended the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning), reported that over 1,900 scholarships and 220 bursary awards totaling around HK$46 million were presented to students from different Faculties and Schools in 2018-19. He also highlighted the increased support from both the University and various donors for scholarships and awards designated for global experiences.  Three scholarship recipients also shared their insights and the precious experiences they gained from attending various learning and service activities.
