A seven-member HKBU delegation led by Professor Franklin Luk, Vice-President (Academic) visited the Chulalongkorn University in Thailand last Friday (19 February). The visit not only enhanced the mutual understanding and exchange of the two institutions, but also furthered the University’s internationalisation efforts.

 

The HKBU delegates comprised Professor Adrian Bailey, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences; Professor Allan Chan, Associate Dean of the School of Business; Dr Daniel Kwong, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science; Dr Kevin Yue, Associate Director of the Teaching and Research Division, School of Chinese Medicine; Mr Peter Li, Director of International Office; and Dr Eva Wong, Director of the Centre for Holistic Teaching and Learning.

 

The purpose of the visit was to explore partnership opportunities in various aspects such as undergraduate, postgraduate, faculty, as well as research collaborations, joint classes and programmes. The two parties also shared experiences on their respective academic structures, outcomes assessment and eLearning innovations.
