HKBU holds first-ever Lilly-Asia conference
24 May 2019
The first-ever Lilly-Asia conference was held at HKBU from 16 to 18 May 2019. The conference, which is the first of its kind held in Asia over its 40 years of history, involved over 170 delegates from 36 universities in 10 countries/regions across the globe.
HKBU was honoured to co-host the conference with the Hong Kong-America Center and the International Teaching Learning Cooperative. The conference served as a platform to facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas, experiences and practices across the spectrum of evidence-based higher education, from evidence for learning to whole person education, hybrid course design, and bilingual literacy. Two particular sessions were entirely facilitated by both undergraduate and research postgraduate students with different cultural backgrounds.
A total of 27 HKBU colleagues also presented their work at the conference. Please click here for more details.
