A team comprising 26 students and alumni from the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme clinched two prestigious honours at the 8th Asia-Pacific Business School Desert Challenge. The MBA team received the Sand Gull Award, which was the highest group honour in the competition, and the overall championship prize in the women’s group. The three-day 70 km-challenge was held in the Tengger Desert in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from 27 to 30 April.

 

The Asia-Pacific Business School Desert Challenge, which involves top business schools from across the Asia Pacific region, is an annual athletic and cultural event dedicated to the MBA community. This year, the MBA team brought home two prizes and came 28th overall out of the 109 contesting business schools, which were mainly drawn from Australia, Canada, Singapore and mainland China.
