The School of Business signed a collaboration agreement with the Overseas Education College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) on (22 June to offer an MBA programme in Shanghai commencing in the 2014-15 academic year. The collaboration will further strengthen the launch of the School’s executive education programme in the Huadong region.

First launched in Hong Kong in 1994, HKBU’s MBA programme has been extended to a number of cities on the Mainland since 2000.  It is currently offered in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and the Huadong region (Nanjing and Shanghai) and has been well received by management executives from both public and private companies. It also received an accreditation from the Association of MBAs in 2012, signifying that the programme offers the highest quality of teaching, faculty and student interaction. Beginning in the academic year 2014-15, the programme will be reformed to incorporate a broader range of social sustainability elements and China issues, so as to meet the emerging needs of business executives across the region.
