The Faculty of Social Sciences and the Advanced Institute for Contemporary China Studies recently invited Professor Lai On-kwok, from the Graduate School of Policy Studies at Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan, to deliver a lecture entitled “How to Build Smart Society – Intergenerational Caring”. 

In the lecture, Professor Lai discussed how, on the one hand, new media communication created phenomenal creativity in the information age, and on the other hand, enhanced positive social reciprocities and reinforced socio-familial intergenerational communication.
