HKBU appoints Associate Vice-President (Student Experience)

HKBU has appointed Professor Arthur Mak Fuk-tat as the new Associate Vice-President (Student Experience) with effect from 26 August 2019.
Professor Mak has abundant experience in interdisciplinary teaching and research, as well as academic and student administration. This includes the design and implementation of the undergraduate curriculum, provision of general education and the implementation of outcome-based education, as well as matters related to student development and cultural promotion.
Professor Roland Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKBU, said: "Professor Arthur Mak is a prolific scholar and administrator who has demonstrated substantial leadership throughout his career. I am confident that he will help the University deliver the best student experience as stipulated in our Institutional Strategic Plan (2018-2028)."
