Art performances held to boost cultural ambience on campus

Under the Cultural Literacy Programme, a LIVE Performance Medley is being held this week to uplift the artistic and cultural ambience on HKBU campus.
The programme features a series of performances throughout the week, including percussion, juggling, accordion, African drums, Flamenco, Indian classical dance, harmonica with guitar and latte art.
A launch ceremony was held yesterday (20 September) and was officiated by Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) Dr Albert Chau, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary Mr Andy Lee, and other members of the Cultural Literacy Programme Committee including Director of Academy of Film Professor Eva Man, Professor of the Department of Humanities and Creative Writing Professor Lo Kwai-cheung, Acting Dean of Arts Professor Johnny Poon, Associate Professor Dr Lo Wai-luk and Assistant Professor Ms Yvonne Lo of the Academy of Film, Assistant Director of Student Affairs Dr Stephen Mann, Director of Finance Mr Edmund Li and Manager of Academic Hall Miss Zoe Yim.

The Cultural Literacy Programme is a University-wide project aiming to provide members of the HKBU community with an experiential learning in arts and culture, enhance their creative mentality and aesthetic awareness, broaden their artistic vision from the nearby communities to worldwide, and use arts as a means to serve the community.
