HKBU presents Long Service Award at 61st Founders’ Day Thanksgiving Service

The University held its 61st Founders’ Day Thanksgiving Service today (7 March) with Dr Cecil Chan, Honorary President of the Hong Kong Baptist University Foundation, as the guest speaker. 

 

At the Service, Professor Roland Chin, HKBU President and Vice-Chancellor, presented Long Service Awards to staff members in recognition of their dedicated service to the University over the years.

 

Mr Tam Po-leung of the Science Faculty Workshop is awarded the 40-year Long Service Award while the recipients of the 35-year Long Service Award are Professor Albert Lee of the Department of Chemistry; Miss Cinderella Chun of the Department of Physics; Ms Kam Siu-lin of the Department of Computer Science. This year, a total of 133 colleagues received the award for 10 or 15 years of service, 43 colleagues for their 20 years of service, 32 colleagues for their 25 years of service, and 14 colleagues in total for their 30 and 35 years of service.
