This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Mr Simon Suen and Mrs Mary Suen Sino-Humanitas Institute (SHI) of Hong Kong Baptist University. To commemorate this milestone, SHI held a celebration ceremony on 30 November. Officiating guests included Dr Simon Suen and Mrs Mary Suen, Honorary Directors of SHI; Ms Chloe Suen, Chair of the Simon Suen Foundation; Professor Rick Wong, Interim Provost of HKBU; Professor Mette Hjort, Dean of Arts of HKBU; Professor Chen Zhi, Founding Director of SHI; and Professor Zhang Hongsheng, Director of SHI. 

At the ceremony, the officiating guests jointly unveiled the thematic scroll for SHI’s 10th anniversary, marking the start of a new chapter for the Institute in terms of its ongoing development, and it will attain even more achievements in the future.
