29 Sep 2017
An entrepreneur sharing seminar was held on 25 September with Chairman of Crystal Group Mr Kenneth Lo speaking on the topic “For the Greater Good”. The seminar, organised by the Knowledge Transfer Office, enlightened a full-house audience, including corporate leaders, business professionals, faculty members and students. They learned more about Mr Lo’s career path as well as his management theory, life philosophy and business insights.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr Lo shared that he has built a corporate culture that focuses on the nurture and care of employees, and how he changed his life and company as well as the world with the spirit of doing something “for the greater good”.
Mr Lo also referred to his book For The Greater Good: Change Ourselves, Change Our Company, Change The World which gives a comprehensive account of his company’s growth, from its overall development, business value and team building to its corporate social responsibility and accomplishments.
Mr Lo established his company Crystal Group with his wife in 1970. For over 50 years, the company has evolved from a small factory with several dozen employees into a multinational manufacturing corporation today with 20 production facilities and over 70,000 employees in five countries. It also has good business relationships with many of the world’s leading, internationally renowned fashion brands.
