The University welcomed around 2,000 freshmen to the HKBU family at its New Student Orientation organised by the Office of Student Affairs last week. A launching session together with team-building activities and personal transformation workshops were arranged to help freshmen adapt to campus life and embark on a fruitful university journey.

At the launching session, President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Roland Chin and Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) Dr Albert Chau shared about the variety of learning opportunities available and encouraged the freshmen to equip themselves well during their four-year university studies to enable them to face the challenges posed by the changing world.

Director of Student Affairs Professor Gordon Tang welcomed the freshmen by introducing them to the activities organised by the Office of Student Affairs and the diversified experiential learning workshops of the Co-curricular Learning (CCL) Series.
