BBA student wins Human Resources scholarship

Annie Lai (Human Resources Management, Year 4) was named the winner of the Human Capital Management Society Scholarship presented by the Hong Kong Management Association in recognition of her excellent demonstration of extensive knowledge and understanding of the human resources field.

 

Candidates were required to submit a 2,000-word essay on the topic “How HR enables organisations to adapt in the era of disruption”. Annie impressed the judges with her innovative ideas and impeccable presentation skills and was chosen as the winner of the scholarship. 

 

Annie was delighted to win the competition which required abundant knowledge in human resources. She thanked the Department of Management for providing such a good opportunity for her to take part in the competition and expressed her gratitude to Senior Lecturer Dr Felix Yip as well as staff from the Human Resources Management concentration.
