Five HKBU students who were selected to participate in the 2013 Global Citizens Programme will embark on a 10-day study trip to Stanford University and the Silicon Valley, San Francisco, USA, from 9 to 19 June together with students from other local universities.

The five HKBU representatives are Annabelle Ng (English Language and Literature, Year 2), Xiao Yunyu (Government and International Studies, Year 3), Hong Ying-ngai (Marketing, Year 3), Lam Tse-fung (History, Year 2) and Ryan Wong (Sociology and Liberal Studies Teaching, Year 2).

The theme of the programme is Social Media in Action, and a total of 30 Hong Kong students were selected to attend the programme this year.
