Yuen-kwan said she was satisfied with her achievement and hopes to maintain her high standard in future. She added that she is always confident of her skill levels and stamina but she had not performed well in recent months because she was over-eager to win.
In her first effort in her event she threw the discus 32 metres, but sharply increased the distance to 42 metres in her second try. She fully understands that her performance is not consistent enough. She will take part in a local competition in the near future and will try her utmost to maintain a calm temperament. “I have to set a target to achieve in order to boost my morale but it should not lower my performance.”
