HKBU students achieve the best results in 15 years at the USFHK Aquatic Meet 

HKBU students achieved the best results in 15 years at the recent Aquatic Meet of the University Sports Federation of Hong Kong.


Overall the men’s and women’s teams came in third and fourth place respectively. Nine students clinched medals in their individual events and Fung Chun-ho broke the 200-metre Individual Medley record with a time of 2:08.35.


The full list of results is as follows:

 

Men’s categories:

  • Fung Chun-ho (Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 1): First place in the 200-metre Individual Medley, third place in the 200-metre freestyle
  • Keith Sin (Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 2): Third place in the 200-metre Individual Medley
  • Chan Yin-kwan (Associate Degree, Year 2): Third place in the 50-metre breaststroke and 200-metre breaststroke
  • Kwong Ka-hei (Associate Degree, Year 1): Second place in the 100-metre breaststroke 

 Women’s category:

  • Nip Tsz-yin (Associate Degree, Year 1): Second place in the 400-metre freestyle, third place in the 200-metre freestyle
  • Tiffany Tang (Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 1): Second place in the 50-metre breaststroke
  • Natalie Mok (Higher Diploma, Year 2) : Third place in the 50-metre freestyle 
  • Nicole Ng (Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 3): Third place in the 50-metre freestyle 
  • Odin Chan (Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 1): Third place in the 200-metre butterfly
