A total of 16 HKBU undergraduate students were presented with scholarships by HSBC this year in recognition of their outstanding academic performance and well-rounded development. The HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship worth HK$50,000 was awarded to six students while another 10 students majoring in Social Work won a HK$25,000 scholarship under the HSBC Social Work Scholarship Scheme.

The HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship winners are: Li Tung-yui (Government and International Studies, Year 4), Cheung Keung Man-kam (Applied Biology, Year 4), Holly Chik (International Journalism, Year 3), Chan Tak-fai (English Language and Literature, Year 4), Hung Kwan-yeung (Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 4), and Cheung Ming-ho (Marketing, Year 3).

The HSBC Social Work Scholarship winners are: Year 4 students Kwan Wai-ting, Wong Hiu-fun, and Wan Tsz-chun; Year 3 students Leung Hoi-wing, Lui Ka-ying, Wong Mei-lam, Shek Hiu-tung, and Tang Ho-fung; and Year 2 students Chow Tsz-shan and Cheung Cheuk-lam.
