HKBU presents Long Service Awards at Founders’ Day Thanksgiving Service

HKBU held its 65th Anniversary Founders’ Day Thanksgiving Service on 5 March. Dr Cheng Yan-kee, former Chairman of the Council and the Court, was invited to deliver a thanksgiving message for the occasion.


At the Service, Professor Alexander Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor, presented awards to long-serving HKBU staff members, and thanked them for their dedicated service to the University over the years. 


This year, three colleagues were honoured with Long Service Award for their 40 years of loyal service to the University, while awards for 30, 25, and 20 years of service were presented to 21, 53 and 30 colleagues respectively. Another 165 colleagues received the awards for 10 or 15 years of service.
