HKBU students compete at National Games

HKBU students joined a number of competitions at the 14th National Games. Held in Shaanxi Province, the Games officially opened on 15 September.
Sarah Lee Wai-sze (Creative and Professional Writing), a member of the Hong Kong Cycling Team, won the gold medal in the final of the Women’s Sprint, which was held on 13 September before the Games officially commenced. She sustained her excellent performance and won the bronze medal in the Women’s Keirin the next day.
Besides, Herry Wong Cheuk-hei (Sports and Recreation Leadership) and Tiffany Tang Yi-ching (Physical Education and Recreation Management) also participated in the Men’s 100m and the Women’s High Jump, respectively, and contested with top athletes from around the country.
