Two HKBU startup teams excel in national entrepreneurship competitions

Two HKBU startup teams, who were selected to represent Hong Kong for the first time, have won prestigious awards at two of the largest entrepreneurship competitions in the Mainland.
The startup MAT-A-CELL won the Silver Award at the 4th China College Students’ “Internet Plus” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition organised by Xiamen University for their Culture Nanomatrices innovation. Another startup, Gihon Biotech, clinched the Bronze Award at the China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Competition organised by Zhejiang University for their use of Chinese medicine in cosmeceuticals.
